Role Deputy Manager – Children with EBD

Location Halesowen, West Midlands

Reports to: Registered Manager 

Hours of Full time, 155 to 165 hours per month, with flexibility to work a combination of work office and rota hours depending on the needs of the home

Job Purpose:

To assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the operational activities within the specified service area in accordance with legislative and policy requirements. 

To lead a residential staff team, undertaking the core tasks within the remit of the home to provide for the physical, health, emotional and social needs of the young people looked after, whilst preparing, enabling, and assisting them to fulfil their individual care plans. Safeguarding children and vulnerable people is a priority for all employees.

Desirable

• QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Services
• Good Knowledge of Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures
• Access to a vehicle
