Paint Refinishing Technician

I am currently working with a Basildon engineering company who require an experienced Paint Refinishing Technician to work a rotating earlies/lates shift pattern Monday to Friday 05:30 – 14:00 and 13:30 – 22:00

The role:

In this specialised role you will be responsible for carrying out high level refinishing to a wide array of parts within the paint department. The work will include:

• Handling painted parts with due care and attention
• Creating a high gloss finish by polishing
• Rectifying any faults found in painted surfaces
• Carrying out maintenance to tools and machines
• Quality checking

The candidate we are looking for will have:

• Extensive experience in a similar role
• Very high attention to detail
• Be proactive and innovative
• Have the ability to prioritise workload
• The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained environment
