Production and Integration Engineer

I am currently working with a global organisation who require a Production and Integration Engineer for a 12 month fixed term contract in Rotterdam. The company are a world leader in the provision of satellite solutions across diverse industries.

In this varied role the Production and Integration Engineer will support the EMEA region and be a key part of the Supply Chain Operation Team by developing and maintaining production engineering equipment, building and testing of equipment and rebuilding, fault-finding, and maintenance of equipment. Specifically you will be responsible for the following:

• Carrying out tests on all types of equipment that pass-through Production
• Carrying out production assembly, configuration and testing, and documentation of ADE, BDE, and LTE equipment
• Conducting pre-configuration of Infinity units, self-replacement hardware and other value-add on equipment, including Fleet Broadband Terminals and other kitting materials
• Ensure that assigned tasks are completed on time and that any issue encountered during testing is reported and resolved with the Engineer
• Working with Production, RMA and Logistics, as part of the Supply Chain Operations team
• Carrying out quality checking
• Assembling UPS and Fleet Data kits, LTE cabinets and termination of RF Cables
• Supporting Production on assembly and cabling works of planned production orders
• Assist the team in assembling VSAT equipment
• Assembling and wiring customized racks

The candidate we are looking for will have:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Experience in Production Engineering and testing
• Knowledge of Supply Chain operations
• Ability to read and understand schematic drawings and manufacturing procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of VSAT
• Knowledge of SAP ERP and Pulse system preferred
• Knowledge of Maritime VSAT and Communication equipment is an added advantage
• Excel, Word and Power Point
