If so, we have an exciting opportunity as Registered Manager in our London-based residential service. Located in Enfield, the children’s will offer therapeutic care to children and young people with behavioural, emotional and social needs.

Our aim is to create a secure, safe and nurturing environment for children and young people to be able to explore and understand their identities, whilst developing confidence and self-esteem. We actively support them to attend and access education and employment opportunities and to develop their independence. We support them to continue with and develop relationships with family and peers where appropriate. Staff will be enabled to provide a high level of care and support to children and young people through regular and ongoing training opportunities. Staff are ambitious for the children and young people we care for and committed to positively preparing them for adulthood.
Job Description:
As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care. You will lead a dedicated team, providing guidance, support, and inspiration. This will include:
Developing and implementing individual care plans and risk assessments. Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of staff, fostering a positive environment.
Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders. Provide leadership and supervision to staff for high-quality care delivery.
Monitor and evaluate care quality, implementing improvement strategies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.
Manage budget effectively to meet children’s needs.
Safeguard children and promote their wellbeing, maintaining high standards of care.
Ensure promotion of education, physical health, and emotional well-being. ● Stay updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies. ● Work closely and collaboratively with senior leadership team, including RI and Managing DirectorRequirements:
Currently working as a Registered Manager or in a similar role. Minimum 3 years’ senior management experience in children’s residential care. NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce. “Good” or “outstanding” grade in recent Ofsted inspections. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. Competitive Salary: £65k-£70k – based in London (10mins walk from Edmonton Green Station)

The successful candidate will play a key role in the registration process, completing an SC2 form linked to the organisation’s SC1 submission to OFSTED. – In the 6 months before registration is received by OFSTED, the RM will be contracted and paid at a consultancy rate of £500 per day for 2 days per month to support the application and setting up of the .
